Release Notes — Version 2.1.0
October 27, 2026
Safer Windows upgrades, clearer community catalog feedback, and reliability improvements.
Precision Arrow Builder 2.1.0 focuses on making updates safer and everyday operations easier to follow.
Safer upgrades. Before installing an update, the Windows installer checks whether your existing application data can be upgraded safely. If it cannot confirm a supported upgrade, it stops before replacing your installed application files.
Clearer community catalog feedback. A busy indicator now appears while synchronizing the community catalog or submitting components. The application also prevents accidental duplicate requests while those operations are running.
Reliability improvements. This release improves stability during application startup and shutdown, handles temporary update-check errors more reliably, and provides better guidance if installation is interrupted.
Important: If an upgrade is blocked, keep your existing installation and data intact and contact support. Older databases without a supported upgrade path cannot be upgraded automatically.
Highlights
- The Windows installer checks whether your existing data can be safely upgraded before replacing application files.
- Community catalog synchronization and component submissions now show when an operation is in progress.
- Improved stability when starting and closing the application.
- More reliable update checks and clearer guidance if an installation cannot be completed.
Fixes
- Prevents repeated community catalog sync or submission requests while one is already running.
- Improved handling of temporary server errors during update checks.
Upgrade notes
Older databases that cannot be safely upgraded are not supported. If the installer blocks an upgrade, leave your existing installation and data intact and contact support. Do not delete your database files.
