Precision Arrow Builder

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Precision Arrow Builder Software, LLC (“Precision Arrow Builder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with:

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that have their own privacy policies. For personal information covered by this Privacy Policy, Precision Arrow Builder generally determines the purposes and means of processing and acts as the business or controller where those concepts apply. We do not generally provide services in which we process personal information on behalf of another business, but if we do so under a separate written agreement, that business’s privacy notice may govern that processing.

Section 1. Information We Collect

We collect information from the following sources: (a) from you, when you make a purchase, communicate with us, request support, send diagnostics, or make a community catalog submission; (b) automatically, from your browser, device, and the Software when they interact with our services; and (c) from payment, licensing, hosting, security, analytics, and other service providers involved in delivering our services. We may also receive information from publicly available sources or business partners when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, support, compliance, or business administration.

Section 1.1 Website, cookies, and technical information

We do not currently use advertising trackers, targeted-advertising pixels, or cross-context behavioral advertising technologies on our website. The website may use cookies, local storage, pixels, software development kits, or similar technologies that are strictly necessary or reasonably useful for security, network management, session continuity, preferences, checkout, licensing, privacy-oriented website analytics, or other requested functionality. If we enable nonessential technologies, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice, consent mechanism, or settings required by applicable law. You can adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies, but doing so may impair website or checkout functions.

Our website hosting, content-delivery, security, privacy-oriented analytics, and network service providers may automatically process standard technical information needed to deliver, protect, and understand basic use of the website. For example, we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics or a similar privacy-oriented website analytics service to understand page views, referrers, approximate location, device type, browser, and performance without using third-party advertising cookies or tracking you across unrelated websites for targeted advertising. Standard technical information may include an Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, date and time, and security-related request data.

Section 1.2 Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscription payments are processed by a third-party payment provider or merchant of record. That provider collects and processes payment-card and other payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.

We may receive information needed to fulfill and administer a purchase or subscription, such as:

Section 1.3 License activation and validation

The Software requires activation and may periodically contact our licensing service to confirm that a subscription and license remain valid.

When the Software is first launched, it generates a random, unique installation identifier and stores it in local application settings. This identifier is assigned to that installation and may survive uninstalling and reinstalling the Software if the local settings are not removed by the uninstall process. It is not derived from hardware serial numbers, a hardware fingerprint, or another hardware-based identifier.

License activation and validation may transmit:

We use this information to activate the Software, enforce activation limits, validate subscription and license status, detect misuse or fraud, troubleshoot licensing problems, and support authorized movement of an activation to a replacement computer.

Section 1.4 Update checking

The Software may contact an update service to determine whether a newer release is available. An update request may include an application identifier, the installed application version, platform information, release channel, and routine network request information, such as an Internet Protocol address and request timestamp.

Section 1.5 Community catalog

The Software may allow you to download or synchronize community catalog information and voluntarily submit component information or submission notes for possible inclusion in the community catalog.

When you submit information, we may collect the submitted component data, notes, related technical metadata, and information reasonably necessary to review the submission, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about it. Technical metadata may include the installation identifier, application version, source IP address, timestamps, a submission fingerprint or similar deduplication identifier, and routine network information if applicable. Community catalog submissions are initiated by you and are not background usage telemetry. A submission accepted for the community catalog may be edited, combined with other content, published, distributed, and visible to other users, as described in the EULA. Treat community catalog submissions as intended for public or community use. By contrast, support messages, attachments, and diagnostics bundles are treated as private service communications and are disclosed only as described in this Privacy Policy, although we cannot promise that information you voluntarily submit will never be subject to a lawful disclosure or security incident. Do not include confidential, proprietary, or unnecessary personal information in a community catalog submission.

Section 1.6 Support communications and diagnostics

If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message, screenshots, attachments, and correspondence history.

The Software may allow you to generate a diagnostics bundle locally. Diagnostics bundles are not uploaded automatically. You decide whether to review and send a bundle to us. A bundle may contain application logs, crash information, configuration summaries, version information, file paths, operating-system details, or other environment-specific technical information. Configuration summaries are designed to exclude known secrets, but you should review a diagnostics bundle before sending it.

Section 1.7 Information stored locally by the Software

Your component catalog, inventory, arrow sets, settings, and related working data are stored locally on your computer unless a particular feature expressly tells you otherwise.

We do not provide cloud synchronization or online storage for this local working data. We do not automatically upload your local catalog, inventory, or arrow-set data to us.

Section 1.8 Sensitive information and information we do not intentionally collect through the Software

We do not seek sensitive personal information through the Software or community catalog. Please do not send government identifiers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, health information, biometric data, or other sensitive information unless we specifically request it and it is reasonably necessary to resolve a support, transaction, security, or legal issue. If you nonetheless submit such information, you do so at your own discretion, and we will handle it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

The Software does not currently:

Section 2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we process information as necessary to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests, protect users and our services, or based on consent.

Section 3. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to:

Service providers may process information only as permitted by their agreements with us and their own applicable legal obligations. We may disclose only the information reasonably relevant to the applicable service or purpose. If legally permitted and practicable, we may evaluate requests from authorities, object to overbroad requests, or seek appropriate protections, but we do not guarantee that we can provide notice or resist disclosure.

Section 4. No Sale of Personal Information or Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or for their own independent advertising purposes. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice or choices required by applicable law.

Section 4.1 Deidentified and Aggregated Information

We may create, use, and disclose information that has been aggregated or deidentified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to you or your household. We may use such information for any lawful business purpose, including research, analytics, product improvement, security, and reporting. Where required by applicable law, we will maintain deidentified information in deidentified form, will not attempt to reidentify it except to test whether our deidentification measures are effective or as otherwise permitted by law, and will contractually obligate recipients to comply with the same restrictions.

Section 5. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Retention periods vary according to the type, sensitivity, and volume of information; the purposes for which it was collected; subscription, licensing, support, tax, accounting, and dispute requirements; fraud and security risks; applicable limitation periods; and legal obligations. We may delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably necessary. Local working data remains on your computer until you modify or delete it, uninstall the Software, remove the applicable files, or otherwise manage it.

Section 6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards that we consider reasonable and appropriate in light of the nature of the information and our operations. These measures are designed to reduce risks of unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No system, network transmission, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. This statement does not represent that we maintain any particular certification, audit result, encryption method, or security standard unless we expressly confirm it in writing.

You are responsible for protecting your computer, email account, license key, backups, and other credentials or information under your control.

Section 7. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may:

Section 7.1 U.S. State Privacy Rights

Some U.S. state privacy laws apply only when a business meets statutory revenue, processing-volume, business-model, or other thresholds. Depending on your state of residence, the nature of our relationship with you, and whether the applicable law covers Precision Arrow Builder and the information at issue, you may have rights to: confirm whether we process your personal information; access or obtain a portable copy of it; correct inaccuracies; delete information; obtain information about the categories of personal information, sources, purposes, and recipients; opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; withdraw consent; and appeal a denied request. Exceptions may apply, and these rights do not apply to information or entities exempt from the relevant law.

We do not currently sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or engage in profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We therefore do not currently offer an opt-out mechanism for those practices. If applicable law requires us to recognize a browser-based opt-out preference signal for a practice we later adopt, we will do so as required.

Section 7.2 Submitting and Processing a Request

To submit a request, email support@precisionarrowbuilder.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and describe the right you wish to exercise, your state of residence, the email address associated with your purchase or support interaction, and enough detail for us to identify the relevant records. Do not send a copy of a government-issued identification document unless we specifically request it through an appropriate method. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, if any. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, authority, state of residence, and the request; verification may depend on the sensitivity of the information and the risk of harm from unauthorized disclosure or deletion. If we cannot verify a request, we may deny it or limit our response. We may retain a record of the request and our response as required or permitted by law.

Section 7.3 Authorized Agents and Appeals

Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request, the agent should use the same request process and identify the person represented. We may require signed permission, proof of the agent’s authority, direct verification with the consumer, or other evidence permitted by law. A valid power of attorney may satisfy different requirements under applicable law. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a decision, reply to our decision or email support@precisionarrowbuilder.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal” and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review and respond as required by applicable law and, where required, provide information about contacting the appropriate regulator.

Section 7.4 Non-Discrimination

We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. We may provide a different price, rate, level, or quality of goods or services only when permitted by law or when the information is necessary to provide the requested product or service.

We may refuse, limit, or charge a fee for requests when permitted by applicable law, including requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive, repetitive, technically infeasible, or that would adversely affect another person’s rights. We may retain information when permitted or required by law, including transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, security, and legal records. Privacy requests do not cancel subscriptions, reverse purchases, deactivate licenses, or delete local files unless we expressly confirm otherwise.

Section 8. Children’s Privacy

Purchases, subscriptions, accounts, and license administration for the Software are not intended for minors. Our website, Software, and services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. We also do not knowingly sell or share for targeted advertising the personal information of consumers under the age for which consent is required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action. A parent or guardian may submit a request on the child’s behalf, subject to reasonable verification.

Section 9. International Users and Third-Party Services

Precision Arrow Builder Software, LLC is based in the United States. Information may be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live, and information may be available to courts, law enforcement, or regulators under local law. Where an applicable law requires a particular transfer mechanism or safeguard, we will use one as required. By using the services or providing information, you acknowledge this processing, subject to rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Our website, checkout flow, Software, communications, or community catalog may link to or interoperate with third-party websites, payment services, content, or applications. We do not control those third parties, and this Privacy Policy does not govern their independent practices. Review their privacy notices before providing information. A link or integration does not by itself mean that we endorse or are responsible for the third party’s privacy or security practices.

Section 10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, practices, risks, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy and revise the “Last updated” date. Changes become effective when posted unless a later date is stated. When required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. Your use of the website or Software remains subject to the then-applicable Website Terms and EULA, but this Privacy Policy does not reduce rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
